About us
IBZ-Salzchemie GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 2003, has been engaged for many years in the manufacture, production and distribution of special products for the conservation of stone, plaster and mortar, as well as for the consolidation of wall paintings.
The focus is on the application of lime, especially nanolime (CaLoSiL). CaLoSiL products can be used both on their own and in combination with coventional stone strengtheners based on silicic acid esters. In recent years, the product range has been extended and completed by special injection grouts and repair mortars, as well as by materials for the preservation of concrete.
All products have been extensively characterized and tested in both national and international research projects. This also applies to the products for the removal of biological growth (mold, algae, lichens), which are also based on nanolime. Lime paints and lime roller plasters also belong to this product range.
A novelty are the materials for the preservation of paper, which are based on nanolime as well as on finest CaCO3.

Products & Services
The following product lines are presented:
- CaLoSiL®: dispersions of finest nanolime (nano-Ca(OH)2) in various alcohols for structural consolidation of natural stone, plaster and mortar
- CaSoPaL®: Nanolime-based mold remover, lime paints and lime roller plaster.
- CaLoXiL®: Injection mortars, repair mortars, slurries, fillers based on white lime hydrate and nanolime.
Materials for concrete preservation will be presented, as well as specially developed products based on nano-lime (nano-Ca(OH)2) and nano-CaCO3 for paper preservation.
